About

Our Vision

A community where people of all identities can feel supported, celebrated, and at home.

Our Mission

To amplify LGBTQ+ voices in the Lower Russian River, we strive to educate and empower our community through joyful celebration, advocacy, and fundraising, honoring our rich history and fostering an inclusive future for all.

2023 Marked the return of pride to Guerneville

We successfully held a vibrant parade and festival that brought life and color to the streets of Guerneville. Alongside these cornerstone events, a series of engaging ancillary activities celebrated the spirit of togetherness, drawing locals and visitors alike to connect and honor the diversity of the Lower Russian River area.

Supporting Our Community Through Grants

As part of our commitment to giving back, we proudly awarded grants to five exceptional local nonprofits:

  • The Guerneville Library:
  • Food for Thought Food Bank:
  • Russian River Alliance:
  • Russian River Youth Center:
  • Watch Duty Fire App:

These grants were presented in a heartwarming ceremony at our Beneficiary Awards Dinner on February 19, 2024 — a night filled with celebration, collaboration, and hope for the future.

The Lower Russian River area faces significant economic challenges, and Russian River Pride is deeply committed to uplifting the community and supporting local businesses. Through our events, activities, and grant programs, we strive to create opportunities, inspire unity, and foster a sense of pride that strengthens the fabric of our region.
